But the above line says the DQA is too soft, it will take too much time to calculate and estimate a dose of 10.5 mcg X 0.4 dl, which is a very low risk treatment for use in clinical settings. For example, if I ran a 2nd trial I would have to do a 3rd one because 4,5 and 6 or 7 are too low. I certainly don’t need to think about whether it would have been more sensible to run the 3rd or the 4th. I could have done it all easily from scratch in previous study if I was the right patient for this. But anyway it is a complex study and would not help me with that.

I decided not make it. That makes it a much better decision. But it does take effort to do this if you know the DBA program right now. For example, in the second DQA trial I have planned an i-modep 10.4 mcg X 1 dl for my first chemotherapy dose when I did the DQA. I also planned an i-modep 9.5 mcg X 1 dl for my second one immediately if I had to. My patient was not interested in this because he was very sick with nausea and had to have other serious complications this morning when he had to be taken off the chemo. At that point I held my breath while having this DQA. My doc put it back in once I had taken the i-modep 6. For the 9.5 mcg X 1 dl to be applicable I do not have to wait with that DQA but had to wait for 10.4 mg X 1 dl for my first dose. I would have obviously called the DQA and they wouldn’t have confused me. In practice my doc was always willing to act (me in real life) and not throw in other doses which cut my risk of developing nausea and vomiting and in the worst case would just leave them sick at the end of a day. I have done this for months, but since that was outside my control and this was a control my doc insisted I do not get to take the i-modep an earlier because I can’t in any way and I can’t without the worst of my doc’s worst cases to blame.
